Crater Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3/4  cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups fruit of your choice (blueberries, raspberries, peaches, apples, etc.)

Topping

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • flour and milk, as needed

Dough

  1. Grease and flour a 9 inch square pan (9 x 13 inch if doubling).
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  3. Combine dry ingredients. Then add remaining ingredients through vanilla. Stir in blueberries.
  4. Spread into prepared pan.

Topping

  1. Combine all ingredients. Add flour and milk, about 3 tablespoons of each, to make a nice spreading consistency. Spread on top of dough.
  2. Bake at 375 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
