Kale Chips

    • A bunch of kale, center stems removed, washed and dried thoroughly
    • About 1 tbsp. sesame oil or olive oil
    • 1 to 2 tsp. soy sauce
    • About 1 tbsp. sesame seeds

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Tear the kale into large pieces and place them in a bowl. (NOTE: I have to stress how important it is that your kale is dry. Otherwise, the chips will turn out soggy.) Next, add oil, soy sauce, and sesame seeds.  Toss everything together. You want each piece to be coated and glistening, but not so any of the oil or seasoning pools at the bottom of the bowl.  Taste test and add extra soy sauce, if you’d like.
  3. On 1 or 2 baking sheets (with or without parchment paper), lay the pieces out flat.
  4. Bake 6 to 7 minutes. Keep an eye on the chips, you’ll want to take them out before they turn brown.
